"Keep it together in the family. They're a reminder of your history."

Who: Blaine Anderson and Quinn Fabray
What: Something to talk about
Where: The new shared beach house
When: A couple of days after Quinn comes clean to Kurt and 'Cedes

It had been a rough couple of days for Blaine. Just when he had thought he was have a good dry spell on his migraines, he was hit with an epic one that took him down for a good 48 hours right in the middle of their moving process. His own unpacking had to come to a grinding halt but when he had woken up after it feeling a little better, he discovered that Kurt had lovingly unpacked all his clothes and hung them up neatly and orderly in their closet they were now sharing, both with a side each. They had managed to fall into a rhythm that worked so far, and Kurt was coping pretty well just so long as he knew he had his own space and could keep things in a way he was comfortable with. Blaine just fit in around him and he had no qualms about that whatsoever. He was just over the moon to be living with Kurt, but also still being able to live with Puck. He had some progression in their relationship and it could be sooner rather than later now that they took that even bigger step together. Kurt had certainly been hinting at it.

He was ravenous now, though. He had a good sleep-in that morning, making sure he was feeling 100% again. He woke up to a note from Kurt saying he had gone into town for a manicure with Mercedes, and he would be back later. Blaine showered and went downstairs, and now he was sitting down at the breakfast bar in their amazing modern and airy kitchen to a huge bowl of Foot Loops and a strawberry muffin. He was checking his Facebook on his iPhone when Quinn came into the room, but he had a giant mouthful of cereal and gave her a wave as a greeting with his spoon, managing a bit of a smile even with his mouth busy.

Quinn had been up and down most of the night being sick, so while she hadn't ever had a full-on migraine, she could still understand the exhaustion of being ill, though. When she walked into the kitchen, she was relieved to see that Blaine was eating. "Morning, honey," she murmured, moving closer to the refrigerator and hoping like hell she'd find something she could hold down. Ginger ale looked promising -- they kept it around for the days Kurt was having the worst time holding things down -- and Quinn took one of the cans and opened it, taking a slow and tentative sip. When that didn't immediately feel like it was going to reappear, she shifted over to the breakfast bar to sit next to Blaine with a warm smile. "How are you feeling, hon?" she asked. "Kurt and 'Cedes have been gone a while. They needed a little time just the two of them, I think... Fag and hag thing." She smiled faintly at that, though she found herself honestly wondering if this whole pregnancy thing was going to hurt her friendship with Kurt, or what might come of that. The last thing she wanted was for this whole situation to end up costing her everything that mattered to her. She'd worked too hard for law school, come too far in her friendships, and grown too much as a person to just let something like this totally destroy it all for her. Thank God, though, Jeremy had made it very clear that he was very much in this, too.

But there was a part of Quinn wondering how she should take that. The fact was that he had really been a sweetheart in the wake of finding out that she was pregnant and he was going to be a father. He'd been in shock, of course, just like she was, but he'd made it very clear that there would be no bailing on her. This baby was a part of both of them... she'd made a baby with someone that she knew next to nothing about, and maybe it was time she changed that just a little. Sipping the ginger ale, she turned to Blaine with a warm smile. "This house is amazing," she said softly. "The most amazing place I've ever lived... How are you liking things so far?"

There was no denying that Blaine really and truly was one of the most adorable guys that Quinn had ever clapped eyes on. Kurt had certainly found himself a great guy, and Quinn was overjoyed for him. Blaine was one of those people that you just couldn't help falling in love with, whether on a romantic level in Kurt's case or a totally platonic one where it just made you happy to know that the fag to your hag was being looked after and cared for by someone kind and beautiful who cared about him so much. He was the kind of guy that made you just want to reach on and pinch his cheeks... until you looked at him in his tank top first thing in the morning and realized that beyond being adorable, he was a little hottie, too. Quinn really couldn't have been happier for Kurt with the sweetheart of a boyfriend he'd literally stumbled into having. She smiled at him, happy to hear that he was feeling better. "That's good," she said, giving his arm a little pat. "I know you were feeling awful there... It was nice to see Kurt taking care of you... I think it was good for him, too. You've been so amazing with all of his food stuff, and he hated that you weren't feeling well, but I think it meant a lot to him that he got to be the one to care for you and look after you." She shook her head just a little, actually convinced that she might literally cry at how sweet Blaine was in relation to Kurt... talking about him like he was the world's most perfect person ever. And in Blaine's eyes, he really and truly was. "You are such a sweetheart," she found herself saying out loud. "I'm so happy that Kurt found someone like you. Somebody who sees him and appreciates what a beautiful person he is. It's made a major difference in my life."

Quinn had to laugh at that. "There will be no sub-par beach houses for my fag," she teased, shaking her head just a little. It was so Kurt, though. He was a perfectionist to the bitter end. "At least it's a larger sized house, so we'll all have our own space as we need it. It was really sweet of your brothers to come and help us move in, too," she offered, trying to subtly turn the conversation to Jeremy without making it seem like that was her plan. Deep down, she really just needed to know who this person was that she was having a child with, one way or another. Was he really the sweetheart of a guy that he seemed to be? She could only hope so for the sake of the baby that she was carrying.
