The fact of the matter was, Puck probably would've shared a room with a one-eyed, one-horned flying purple people eater to be close by when Blaine needed him. But even that would've been far less awkward than sharing a room with Quinn after what had happened back at the clinic. He was pretty sure when he thought about it, that his lips were still tingling from the kiss she'd given him, only to have her immediately pull away, seeming to brush the whole thing off as a mistake. The fact was, Puck hated that part most of all. It wasn't that she kissed him, or even that she pulled away so quickly as much as her insistence that she shouldn't have done it, and it was just her emotions getting to her. Maybe that was true, or maybe she'd just panicked, but he didn't know, and it was mad awkward as they lay there in total silence, Puck in an almost identical position to Quinn as their strawberries and champagne sat untouched on the cart they'd been delivered on.
It had been so quiet in the room that when Quinn spoke, it startled Puck just a little. Turning his head to the side to look at her, he shrugged. "I wish I knew. This is... um... really awkward. I can sleep on the floor if you'd rather... Or in a chair. It's totally okay with me." This bed was damn comfortable, though, and as awkward as this was, he really hoped she didn't mind sharing. He didn't mean to stare at her as he waited for an answer on that, but he couldn't help it. Here he was, in bed with the girl he had serious feelings for, and instead of it being a romantic deal, it was awkward, and they weren't even touching. He couldn't help letting himself watch her for a few moments, and as long as she hadn't answered his question, he'd try to make it look like he was just waiting on that.
