Quinn had been on edge ever since Kurt got admitted to the eating disorder clinic for the third time. He had been doing so well with his condition, managing it, and had even put some weight on and was getting back to his normal weight range. But then things started to get stressful for him, and he began to slip. By the time Blaine rode into his life like a knight in shining armour, Kurt was already too far gone. Now it had all come to light, and Kurt just kept slipping, this whole thing was inevitable.
She pulled into the parking lot of the clinic, which was actually a lovely building surrounded by beautiful gardens that the patients had the use of. Quinn knew from speaking to Blaine briefly a couple of times in the lead up to Kurt going that he thought it was going to be some horrible, bleak lock-up like a mental hospital, but it was far from that. It was actually a lot like a hotel, just more clinical on the inside. The rooms were pleasant and like a guest house so the patients weren't given the sensation they were trapped in a hospital or holding cell. But at the end of the day, it was still a medical facility and it was still where Kurt needed to be to get the intense treatment. He just wasn't coping with it like they hoped. His last stay here had been brief. He bounced back well and got back on his feet. The time before that was the worst where they had to feed him nasally and he was dangerously skinny and ended up with pneumonia and put in hospital anyway.
Blaine suggested they meet him here, and Puck and Quinn had stopped to get some lunch for the three of them on the way so they could bring Blaine something to eat. Burt had said Kurt taken a turn that he was just psychologically rejecting food. He ate, he threw up, and without even forcing himself too. They were thinking about nasal-feeding again, and that's what had freaked Blaine out and caused Quinn to decide to come up... and bring Puck with her. She shut the car off and turned to Puck, who was nursing the bags of takeout food. "You okay?" she asked him. "I promise, this is not like a mental facility at all."
