"Friends with benefits works really well with that, then," Jeff agreed. "Nothing serious, no need for commitment, and if we end up finding someone we actually want to date and stop sleeping together, it's no harm, no foul. I know what you mean. It's kinda the perfect fit for me right now. Oh, I see," he said, reminding himself not to let slip to Quinn that he knew that unless Mercedes filled him in. "Does that not make it harder that they broke up?" Jeff asked. He wasn't judging by any means. He couldn't sit in judgment on anyone for their sexual choices, especially considering he'd let his high school enemy bang him on an elevator.
"Thanks," he said as he crossed over to take the offered seat, giving a slow nod to Nick. "You're probably right. And I know Kurt could, too." He couldn't help the amused grin on his face. "Well some hospital room host you are, dude," he said, surprised at the light joking between him and Nick when there had been a time that they'd barely been able to stand in the same room without ignoring one another completely or ending up in a massive fist fight. "It's cool, though. I think you're right. We need to bury the hatchet... For our friends' sake, you know."
