Um, Kurt ran into Rachel... literally. He said it didn't go very well. Why can't I ever have nice things?

As soon as the apartment buzzer went, Blaine was up off the sofa and shooting over to the door to buzz Kurt in. He had been sitting there wallowing ever since the stupid and hurtful text message from Rachel, and it was what led him to deciding to ditch class that afternoon. He couldn't be bothered going, so he didn't. Instead, he sat and ate a whole box of Oreos while he watched re-runs of Quantum Leap on one of the classics channels.

Kurt's text message had put a smile on his face when the one to Puck had gone unanswered. He had been feeling sensitive and pissed off, but it only felt better when Kurt offered to come keep him company. It was like the day had gone from suck to shiny again and he had butterflies flipping in his belly just from the anticipation of some time with Kurt. He didn't care about Rachel's opinions. She could stick them up her ass. He adored Kurt, and nothing was going to waver that. When he opened the door, finding Kurt standing there with a little brown paper bag, Blaine broke into a grin and reflexively reached for Kurt's free hand. "Hey, you," he greeted him fondly and then leaned in to give him a soft kiss.
