Who:
breaksniceguys and
richandlovingit
What: Blind Date
Where: Escopazzo, Miami Beach
When: Simultaneous to THIS
Rating: PG, for now?
Ethan could have killed Tom for setting him up on a blind date. It really, really wasn't his sort of thing, and being extremely rich and not hard on the eyes, he never had issues finding dates of his own. This was just ludicrous. But when Tom pulled the guilt trip and said that he really wanted to keep things nice with his other half and his other half's fag hag, Ethan was done for. They were best mates, and had been since they were in nappies. He knew Tom was still trying to wrap his head around this commitment thing after everything he had been through in England that warranted his seachange to Miami, so Ethan agreed to go along with it... albeit with a lot of swearing and cussing.
Strangely enough, though, the chick apparently only agreed to come after she knew what restaurant he had booked. She had held out on him until then, but he didn't think much of it. One date, that was all he agreed to, and he was willing to just grin and bear it for Tom's sake. But then Holly arrived at the restaurant and there was no denying she was as hot as all hell. Ethan was immediately intrigued, and the date progressed with small-talk, but nothing really beyond just watching each other over the table. They had just finished their entrée and their main course arrived right as two guys passed their table. Ethan was just commenting to Holly about how he wasn't used to having the beach at his finger tips, even if he had property and holiday homes in tropical places when a guy on crutches stopped just beyond Holly and turned around to give her a death glare... then he gave Ethan a death glare, eyes wide, before the shorter guy he was with caught his attention and they moved along.
Ethan watched, fork poised, and then laughed in amusement. "That young guy over there in the Dolce and Gabbana just gave you the complete daggers as he passed. Do you know him?" he asked her. "I didn't steal his date for the night, did I?"
